Top Notch Fence Co was originally established in the 1980s and became part of the Hill family in 2005, when Matt Hill purchased the business while living in Kremmling, Colorado. In 2007, Matt and his wife, Heidi Hill, moved the company to Colorado’s Western Slope, where they worked side by side building Top Notch Fence Co. into a trusted name in the community.
Matt was known for his craftsmanship, work ethic, and ability to build things that were made to last. In 2007, he built the Loma Sale Barn, adding another piece to his legacy throughout Colorado’s agricultural and livestock communities.
After Matt passed away in 2024, Heidi took the reins and has continued carrying the company forward, honoring the business they built together while maintaining the same standards of quality and integrity that have defined Top Notch Fence Co. for generations.
Today, Top Notch Fence Co. proudly serves Montrose and the Western Slope, continuing a tradition rooted in family, craftsmanship, and Colorado values.
